Plan your first skywatch visit with confidence

Everything here is practical: when we gather, where to meet nearby, and what helps you enjoy the night sky comfortably.

Rhythm: Usually the 2nd and 4th Friday each month, with seasonal bonus sessions during meteor showers.
Gathering area: We meet near a local park edge or school field with open horizons. Final pin and access notes are shared 24 hours before start.
Session length: About 90 minutes, including a short sky orientation and guided observing time.
Weather policy: Cloud, rain, or high wind can shift the plan. We post a go/no-go update by 5:00 PM on meetup day.

New to observing? Beginners are welcome at every session, and no telescope is required.
